This is similar to the in-person class, but offered in an online version by a third party provider. This provider is certified and licensed by the state to prove the required material in an online format. This course will cover the 4 topics required by DPS, with a written test at the end of the class. The topics are applicable state laws applicable to carrying a firearm, firearm use and safety, including the use of restraint holsters. The online course is broken into modules so it can be completed at your own pace, and can be completed on a computer, or mobile device. The test is 25 questions, and must be passed with a minimum score of 70%.
